Product Description
The Austlift 100T x 10M UHMWPE Recovery Towing Strop is engineered for heavy-duty vehicle and mobile plant recovery, combining exceptional strength with a lightweight, low-elongation synthetic construction.
At the heart of the strop is a UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) core, selected for its extremely high tensile strength, impact resistance and excellent strength-to-weight ratio. UHMWPE is approximately 15 times stronger than steel by weight, allowing high-capacity recovery equipment to remain considerably lighter and easier to handle in the field.
The UHMWPE core is protected by a tightly braided, durable polyester outer sheath, providing additional protection against abrasion, UV exposure and environmental wear. This helps protect the load-bearing fibres and extend the service life of the strop in demanding working environments.
UHMWPE also has extremely low moisture absorption, along with excellent resistance to wear, fatigue and many chemicals, making this recovery strop well suited to harsh mining, earthmoving, agricultural, transport and industrial environments.
With a 100 tonne capacity and 10 metre length, it provides a practical recovery solution for large mobile equipment where strength, low elongation and manageable equipment weight are important.
