Product Description
The Austlift 100T x 15M UHMWPE Recovery Towing Strop is engineered for heavy-duty vehicle and mobile plant recovery, providing exceptional strength, low elongation and significantly easier handling than traditional heavy recovery equipment.
The load-bearing core is manufactured from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), a high-performance synthetic fibre with outstanding tensile strength and impact resistance. UHMWPE is approximately 15 times stronger than steel by weight, providing an excellent strength-to-weight ratio for high-capacity recovery applications.
A tightly braided polyester outer sheath protects the UHMWPE core against abrasion, UV exposure and environmental wear, helping protect the load-bearing fibres and extend the strop's service life in demanding conditions.
UHMWPE has very low moisture absorption and excellent resistance to abrasion, wear, fatigue and many chemicals. These properties make the strop particularly suited to harsh mining, earthmoving, agricultural, civil and heavy transport environments.
With a 100 tonne capacity and extended 15 metre length, this model provides additional reach when recovering large vehicles and mobile plant where greater separation between equipment or recovery points is required.
