The Austlift 300T x 15M UHMWPE Recovery Towing Strop is a specialised high-capacity recovery strop designed for extreme heavy vehicle, mining and mobile plant recovery applications where exceptional strength and reliable performance are required.
The load-bearing core is manufactured from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), an advanced synthetic fibre offering extremely high tensile strength with low elongation. UHMWPE is approximately 15 times stronger than steel by weight, allowing exceptionally high-capacity recovery equipment to remain relatively lightweight, flexible and manageable in the field.
A tightly braided polyester outer sheath provides protection to the UHMWPE core against abrasion, UV exposure and environmental wear. This helps safeguard the critical load-bearing fibres when the strop is used in demanding mining, earthmoving and heavy industrial environments.
UHMWPE also provides very low moisture absorption together with excellent resistance to abrasion, fatigue and many chemicals, making it well suited to harsh outdoor and industrial conditions.
With an impressive 300 tonne capacity and 15 metre length, this strop is intended for specialised recovery operations involving very large mobile plant and heavy equipment where conventional recovery gear may become excessively heavy or difficult to handle.
