Product Description
The Austlift 30T x 15M UHMWPE Recovery Towing Strop provides a lightweight, high-strength solution for vehicle and mobile plant recovery, making it well suited to mining, civil, agricultural, transport and off-road environments.
The load-bearing core is manufactured from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), a high-performance synthetic fibre offering excellent tensile strength with low elongation. UHMWPE is approximately 15 times stronger than steel by weight, providing an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and making the strop easier to carry, position and handle during recovery operations.
A tightly braided polyester outer sheath protects the UHMWPE core from abrasion, UV exposure and environmental wear, helping safeguard the load-bearing fibres in demanding field conditions.
With a 30 tonne capacity and 15 metre length, this strop provides excellent reach for recovery and towing operations while maintaining a lightweight and flexible construction. UHMWPE also offers very low moisture absorption and excellent resistance to wear, fatigue and many chemicals.
