The Austlift 30T x 9M UHMWPE Recovery Towing Strop is a high-strength, lightweight recovery solution designed for vehicles, machinery and mobile plant operating across mining, civil, agricultural and transport environments.
The load-bearing core is manufactured from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), an advanced synthetic fibre renowned for its exceptional tensile strength and low elongation. UHMWPE is approximately 15 times stronger than steel by weight, delivering excellent strength while keeping the strop lightweight, flexible and easy to handle in the field.
A tightly braided polyester outer sheath protects the UHMWPE core against abrasion, UV exposure and environmental wear, helping safeguard the critical load-bearing fibres during demanding recovery operations.
With a 30 tonne capacity and practical 9 metre length, this strop is ideal where a shorter connection between recovery vehicles or equipment is preferred. Its low moisture absorption and excellent resistance to abrasion, fatigue and many chemicals make it particularly suited to harsh working environments.
