The Austlift 50T x 10M UHMWPE Recovery Towing Strop is a high-strength, lightweight recovery solution for heavy vehicles, machinery and mobile plant, offering excellent performance in demanding mining, civil, agricultural and transport environments.
The load-bearing core is manufactured from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), a high-performance synthetic fibre known for its exceptional tensile strength and low elongation. UHMWPE is approximately 15 times stronger than steel by weight, providing an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio and making high-capacity recovery equipment easier to transport, position and handle in the field.
A tightly braided polyester outer sheath protects the UHMWPE core against abrasion, UV exposure and environmental wear. This helps protect the critical load-bearing fibres and provides additional durability in harsh recovery conditions.
With a 50 tonne capacity and 10 metre length, this strop provides a versatile combination of strength and reach for recovering trucks, tractors, earthmoving machinery and other heavy mobile equipment. UHMWPE also offers very low moisture absorption and excellent resistance to abrasion, fatigue and many chemicals.
