The Austlift 80T x 15M UHMWPE Recovery Towing Strop is a high-strength recovery solution designed for heavy vehicles, mining machinery and large mobile plant, combining exceptional strength with low elongation and lightweight handling.
The load-bearing core is manufactured from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), a high-performance synthetic fibre with an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. UHMWPE is approximately 15 times stronger than steel by weight, helping reduce the weight and handling demands associated with high-capacity recovery equipment.
A tightly braided polyester outer sheath protects the UHMWPE core against abrasion, UV exposure and environmental wear, helping safeguard the critical load-bearing fibres in demanding field conditions.
With an 80 tonne capacity and extended 15 metre length, this strop provides additional reach for recovery operations involving trucks, tractors, loaders, graders, earthmoving machinery and other heavy mobile equipment. The longer configuration is particularly useful where greater separation is required between the recovery vehicle and the equipment being recovered.
UHMWPE offers very low moisture absorption along with excellent resistance to abrasion, fatigue and many chemicals, making this strop well suited to harsh mining, earthmoving, agricultural, civil and heavy transport environments.
