The Austlift 100T x 12M Snatch Strap is a high-capacity kinetic recovery strap designed for large mining equipment, heavy vehicles, earthmoving machinery and mobile plant operating in demanding recovery environments.
Manufactured from 100% high-strength nylon webbing, the strap provides a minimum stretch of 20%, allowing it to absorb and progressively transfer kinetic energy during recovery. This controlled elasticity assists in recovering bogged or immobilised heavy equipment where substantial recovery forces are required.
Featuring an extremely robust 4-ply, 250mm wide construction, this strap is designed for specialised high-capacity recovery operations. The 12 metre length provides excellent separation between recovery vehicles and equipment while remaining more manageable than longer 15m or 20m configurations.
The connection eyes are reinforced for additional abrasion protection, helping protect critical high-wear areas during use. The nylon webbing is also UV resistant for outdoor applications and supplied with a safety information tag for identification and correct use.

Snatch straps store significant energy as they stretch during recovery. Always use appropriately rated recovery points and compatible recovery equipment. Never connect a snatch strap to a tow ball or unrated recovery point. Inspect the strap before use and remove it from service if cuts, excessive abrasion, damaged stitching or other deterioration is identified.
