Snatch Strap – Nylon 80T x 12M, 4 Ply 150mm | Austlift 204408
Product Description
The Austlift 80T x 12M Snatch Strap is a high-capacity kinetic recovery strap engineered for heavy vehicles, mining machinery, earthmoving equipment and large mobile plant operating in demanding recovery environments.
Manufactured from 100% high-strength nylon webbing, the strap provides a minimum stretch of 20%, enabling it to absorb and progressively transfer kinetic energy during recovery. This controlled elasticity is designed to assist in freeing bogged or immobilised vehicles and machinery where substantial recovery force is required.
Its robust 4-ply, 150mm wide construction provides the strength required for heavy equipment recovery, while the 12 metre length offers additional separation between the recovery vehicle and the equipment being recovered without the bulk of longer 15m or 20m straps.
The connection eyes are reinforced for additional abrasion protection, helping protect high-wear areas during connection and recovery. The nylon webbing is also UV resistant for outdoor use and supplied with a safety information tag for identification and correct use.
With its combination of 80 tonne capacity, minimum 20% stretch and 12 metre length, this strap is particularly suited to professional recovery operations across mining, earthmoving, agriculture, civil construction and heavy transport.

IMPORTANT – RECOVERY USE
Snatch straps store significant energy as they stretch during recovery. Always use appropriately rated recovery points and compatible recovery equipment. Never connect a snatch strap to a tow ball or unrated recovery point. Inspect the strap before use and remove it from service if cuts, excessive abrasion, damaged stitching or other deterioration is identified.
