Product Description
The Austlift 16T x 9M Snatch Strap is a heavy-duty kinetic recovery strap designed for 4WDs, trucks, agricultural vehicles and mobile equipment where additional recovery capacity is required.
Manufactured from 100% high-strength nylon webbing, the strap provides a minimum stretch of 20%, allowing it to absorb and progressively transfer kinetic energy during a recovery. This elasticity helps generate the recovery force required to free bogged or immobilised vehicles while providing a more progressive load than a low-stretch towing strop.
Featuring a 2-ply, 60mm wide construction, the strap combines high strength with flexibility and manageable handling. Its 9 metre length provides practical separation between the recovery vehicle and the vehicle or equipment being recovered.
The connection eyes are reinforced for additional abrasion protection, helping protect the strap in high-wear connection areas. The nylon construction is also UV resistant for outdoor use and supplied with a safety information tag.
The 16T capacity makes this model well suited to commercial 4WDs, trucks, agricultural machinery and general mobile equipment recovery across mining, agriculture, civil construction and transport environments.

Snatch straps store significant energy as they stretch during recovery. Always use appropriately rated recovery points and compatible recovery equipment. Never connect a snatch strap to a tow ball or unrated recovery point. Inspect the strap before use and remove it from service if cuts, excessive abrasion, damaged stitching or other deterioration is identified.
