The Austlift 150T x 10M UHMWPE Recovery Towing Strop is a high-capacity recovery solution engineered for heavy vehicles, mining machinery and large mobile plant operating in demanding environments.
The load-bearing core is manufactured from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), a high-performance synthetic fibre offering exceptional tensile strength with low elongation. UHMWPE is approximately 15 times stronger than steel by weight, providing the strength required for high-capacity recovery while keeping the strop relatively lightweight, flexible and easier to handle in the field.
A tightly braided polyester outer sheath protects the UHMWPE core against abrasion, UV exposure and environmental wear. This protective layer helps shield the load-bearing fibres during use and contributes to longer service life in harsh operating conditions.
UHMWPE also offers very low moisture absorption and excellent resistance to abrasion, wear, fatigue and many chemicals. These characteristics make the strop particularly suited to mining, earthmoving, civil construction, agriculture and heavy transport recovery operations.
With a 150 tonne capacity and 10 metre length, this recovery strop is designed for high-capacity recovery applications involving large mobile equipment where strength, low elongation and manageable equipment weight are critical.
