The Austlift 150T x 15M UHMWPE Recovery Towing Strop is engineered for high-capacity recovery of heavy vehicles, mining machinery and large mobile plant, combining exceptional strength with low elongation and manageable handling.
The load-bearing core is manufactured from UHMWPE (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene), a high-performance synthetic fibre offering outstanding tensile strength and impact resistance. UHMWPE is approximately 15 times stronger than steel by weight, delivering an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio for demanding recovery operations.
A tightly braided polyester outer sheath protects the UHMWPE core against abrasion, UV exposure and environmental wear, helping protect the critical load-bearing fibres and extend service life in harsh operating conditions.
UHMWPE has very low moisture absorption together with excellent resistance to abrasion, wear, fatigue and many chemicals. These properties make the strop particularly well suited to demanding mining, earthmoving, civil construction, agricultural and heavy transport environments.
With a 150 tonne capacity and 15 metre length, this model provides additional reach for large-scale recovery operations where greater separation between the recovery vehicle, mobile plant or approved recovery points is required.
